Digital Spark Photography

As evidenced by these images, digital cameras are capable of capturing spark images on par with film cameras. These images were made using a Kodak DX3900 in manual mode, 0.8 megapixels, 2 second shutter, 100 ISO equivalent, no flash, ambient light only. The coil is my 6" x 30" system driven by an 11KV pole transformer.
