Digital Spark Photo
As evidenced by this image, digital cameras are capable of capturing spark images of similar quality to those captured with film cameras. As an added bonus, there's no need to buy film, wait for processing to see how it turned out, pay for processing, and then scan the print with a flatbed scanner. The digital image bypasses all that stuff and can go right onto the web site in a jiffy. This image was made using a Kodak DX3900 in manual mode, 0.8 megapixels, 2 second shutter, 400 ISO equivalent, no flash, illuminated with a flashlight beam directed at the ceiling. This is my 4" x 24" New & Improved Junk Box Coil driven by my "tamed" MOT power supply at approximately 12kvdc/1700VA.
