we completed the turns count of the "former" 3000 turn coil. the correct count is 2989 turns close wound and five turns spiraled up to the topload connector with a 1.5" spacing. i counted and then made my girlfriend count to make sure (now i have to paint the bathroom), we both came up with the same numbers. i have no idea why the resistance readings come out wrong but there it is? i will now start to count the turns on the other three coils. marc
