Subject: Re: [TSSP] Time domain modeling

I forgot to mention,

I have a Pearson 4100 current monitor (140Hz - 35MHz 1:1) and Pearson 411
(1Hz-20MHz 10:1) current monitor. The Tek 5100 and the new 3012 digital
scope that holds 10000 points per channel and sends raw data to the floppy
drive. Plus the AE PDX900, a frequency counter, etc. So I can easily
drive and measure the small secondary coil I have (tunes around 350kHz) up
to 900 watts. The PDX goes from 325 to 375 kHz and has independent
frequency control as well as very accurate forward power regulation. It
has very low harmonic output distortion as well.

So I have a bunch of good toys for finding info for pn1401 impedance
questions. I may have gotten a bit carried away in thinking of disruptive
coil measurements :-)) when nice calm CW measurements are probably the
next step...

Some work I did last year with this is at:

However, this data could be greatly improved on and targeted for our
project's needs.

I usually run the CW coil by driving an ~10 turn primary coil from the PDX.
Perhaps I need to drive the base directly for our needs. I have never
done that but it should work.

A bunch of pictures (some quite pretty) are at:
