Hi Paul, The short tapped secondary is finished. Inductance = 39.0mH DC resistance = 32.65 ohms Turns = 442 Top diameter = 11.224 in Base diameter = 10.606 in length = 9.92 on Turns per band 1 43 base 2 44 3 48 4 44 5 43 6 43 7 77 8 45 9 44 10 44 top Pictures at: http://hot-streamer.com/temp/Paul/3-23/P3230002.jpg http://hot-streamer.com/temp/Paul/3-23/P3230004.jpg I pinged the coil at 2500 volts and the base current is at: http://hot-streamer.com/temp/Paul/3-23/raw.CSV Note that the amplitude of the base current should be X2 in the data. The 50 ohm termination cuts the signal level in half. I averaged the base current over 16 shots and got: http://hot-streamer.com/temp/Paul/3-23/avg-16.CSV I would think that would give a cleaner FFT?? Let me know if that helps or hurts the data. The current is with a 50ohm termination and floating ground. So let me know what size of resistance(s) I should use and I can ping it at each level. It is all ready to go. Cheers, Terry
