Hi Paul, The gap firing voltage was 15.3kVp. I didn't go beyond this value. Breakout was occurring and the racing arcs occurred periodic but often. I don't let this condition continue and typically would have simply adjusted coupling, but sidetracked over to another coil project leaving the racing arc coil as is (also due to finding it ironic we were just talking about this here).
