Hi,

I have noticed that when larger coils have a large single streamer, you can
often see a smaller fainter streamer or ionization 180 degrees on the other
side of the toroid. I always thought it was on electrostatic effect as the big
streamer chews up the electrostatic fields around the toroid but that is just a
thought without any facts to back it up. However, the 180 effect is very real.

Cheers,

        Terry
