Hi Terry, Sorry for the delay, work etc has been very busy lately and I haven't been able to do anything significant with the Tesla stuff for a few weeks (: I'm just begining to catch up now with a backlog! I wrote: > I have a modification to suggest... which isn't working out too well. My plan was to drop the topvolts down a central conducting tube through the middle of the oil-filled coil, down to below the coil - into a cylindrical oil-filled chamber the same diam as the coil. It means the 'small' cap of the divider can have the same radius as the coil. But it opens the way to C coupling between the middle electrode of the divider and the coil voltages. Needs more thought, I think. Hopefully after this week things will calm down a bit and I can put in some hobby time, Cheers, -- Paul Nicholson, --
