Paul, Bart, I run the test script at http://www.abelian.demon.co.uk/tssp/geotc/ks.html again at work (NT4.0 + IE 5.00). I had to click the slow-down message away two times. Inbetween, this IE-window was not accessable, all other PC functions seemed to work well. That means I could work in different windows (even IE-windows) at that time without noticable slow down. I frequently checked the geotc window (every 15s or so). After a while (~2 minutes?) it was finished. In case you need more info on the detailed runtimes, I copied the program output below. So the program seems to work fine for me at this PC, the only thing one could wish is a remainder when the calculation is finished: as said, the window is not accessible during calculation and therefore it is not possible to bring it on top of all other windows during until it has finished so one has to try frequently.
