Boris,
I will try to get this and the many other "strange" discharge pics on my
site. I've been having trouble uploading, but will strive to persevere.
i just sent an attachment to the tssp list, maybe it will get through?
if so, save and use your viewer to zoom into the toroid, most
interesting.

The space charging around the 3k coil is amazing indeed, i have one pic
of no breakout condition from the topload, but the aluminium ladder 10'
away is glowing like a neon light with many, many small streamers
everywhere? We have also experienced that our bodies must have charged
up, or the space charge remains after shutdown because we could touch a
neon tube and cause a 1" length of light to happen? several of us did
this at ounce and completely lit a four foot neon tube.
but then i'm getting ahead of the game!

I have been thinking! I have 100 500v gas discharge tubes, I am
wondering if there is a way i could series these with resistors between
to get a 500kv wand? If so then it would be easy to see topload voltage
by how many gas tubes are lit? Idle thinking now but i want to work at
it, any suggestions??? I also picked up a triplet 0-1500 amp analog
meter.

Will keep all informed about web site,
Marc M.
